Full Moon August 26th 7:58am in Shatabhisha Nakshatra!  This moon is a breath of fresh air after a summer of confusion, uncertainty and chaos with all of the retrograde planets, eclipses and the Mars/Ketu transit.  The moon will be in the area of the sky known as Shatabhisha, the “Star of 100 Healers.”  Shatabhisha is located in the sign of the Water Bearer (physician of the gods) who pours forth the cosmic waters from the Aquarius pitcher to nourish humanity and make the world free of calamity. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Varuna, the god of rain and the cosmic waters, is the deity associated with this lunar mansion.  The bestower of wisdom and the god of medicines, he generates the power of healing.  He can bring calamities upon us but can also remove them if we propitiate him sincerely.  Shatabhisha makes us firm and strong and helps us overcome weakness. 💦💦💦

Shatabhisha is also known as “the hundred flowers” indicating a connection to the plant kingdom for healing.  There is a tremendous potential for healing under this full moon starting this morning and lasting until Monday morning.  Herbalists, this is an auspicious time to make your medicines.  This asterism has more of the nature to bring about a healing crisis leading to revitalization as opposed to immediate cures like Ashwini Nakshatra.  The symbol for this nakshatra is a circle enclosing a space which reflects the need for containment, independence and solitude.  Women, gather in your circle under this full moon!🌿🌹🌿

The ruling planet is Rahu, the North Node of the Moon, an airy planet of change, bringing about disease and healing.  Rahu reaches it’s completion and perfection in Shatabhisha.  We become sensitive to the whole of reality and to the truth or falsehood of what we are.  It is here that we must face the Maya (illusion) within ourselves and in the world so that it can become the great wisdom power of the great Lord Varuna.  Maya is the rain of Varuna’s grace, inspiring us to seek deliverance from a higher source.🌪🌪🌪

The Moon is receiving strong aspects from Saturn and Jupiter during it’s peak fullness.  Saturn’s aspect is coming from the Galactic Center, a place that deals with the root of things.  This recent Saturn transit here has shed light on what has not been working for us and is forcing us into change.  Think of the Tower in the tarot deck, sometimes things need to destruct and go up in flames for transformation to occur.  Saturn is known as the Karmic Leveler and most times his teachings can seem harsh but think of how a diamond is made, lots of pressure reveals the luminous quality of this spectacular gem. Jupiter aspect comes from the location in the sky known as the Star of Purpose providing protection.  This is a delightful position and represents triumph and ushers in the energies of strength and power and the ability to rise. It provides the power to achieve fruits in this life.🌤🌤🌤

Mars will move out of its retrograde position and station direct on Monday, August 27th.  This will bring some forward motion to things in our lives that may have seemed stuck in limbo these last two months during this extremely intense Mars retrograde.  Mars represents our personal power, self-worth, assertiveness and lower manifestation of anger, conflict and war. ☄️☄️☄️
